Discover the mathematical foundations that power Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning — from algebra and statistics to neural networks and real-world AI projects. No prior coding experience required.
From students just entering JSS1 to those preparing for WAEC — and students in the US and worldwide — this programme meets you exactly where you are. Students are grouped by mathematics and computing ability, not age, so everyone is challenged at the right level.
On Day 1, every student completes a short, friendly maths and computing assessment. We use the results to place students into ability-matched groups — not by age or school year. This means a gifted JSS1 student can work alongside an SS1 student, and every student is stretched without being overwhelmed. Groups are reviewed weekly and adjusted as students grow.
Each week builds on the last — from the mathematical foundations to building your own AI project. Inspired by the MIT OpenCourseWare approach to AI education.
Every AI system is built on mathematics that secondary school students already encounter. This programme connects the dots — showing students why the maths they learn in school is the same maths that powers Google, ChatGPT, and self-driving cars.
Each city runs the same curriculum simultaneously with a dedicated instructor. Students attend in person and connect with peers across all three cities for the final project showcase.
Our instructors are diaspora STEM professionals and trained educators from the Learning Institute for Excellence network — people who have used this mathematics in real careers and are passionate about passing it on.
Classes run 4:00pm – 6:00pm West Africa Time (WAT) — that is 10:00am – 12:00pm Eastern, 9:00am – 11:00am Central, and 7:00am – 9:00am Pacific. Online students join the same live class as students in Nigeria.
